About Navium
Navium is an online marketplace for buying and selling passenger vessels in Europe. We connect owners selling their passenger vessel with operators, investors and entrepreneurs looking to buy a pre-owned or new vessel – without broker fees, neither for buying nor for selling.

Navium grew out of the collaboration with Lux-Werft Mondorf am Rhein – one of Germany's most established shipyards for passenger vessels. Lux looks back on 75 years of experience and is currently building its 225th vessel. From that decades-long experience we know what matters when buying or selling a passenger vessel: technical data, class status, operating zone, profitability.
Why free?
Traditional ship brokers charge 5–10 % commission on the sale price. For a €600,000 vessel that's €30,000 to €60,000 borne by buyer, seller or both. We consider that disproportionate in a niche market with only a few dozen transactions per year – and broker directly, without commission chains.
How Navium works
- For sellers: sign in with your email, create a listing, upload photos, submit. We usually review within 24 hours and publish the listing on the public overview.
- For buyers: all available listings are openly accessible on the home page. You contact the owner directly – no middleman.
- Valuation & advice: on request we support with industry expertise from the shipyard – technical assessment, market value, sale strategy.
