Description
The MS Serrahn Deern – "the Flexible" – is the newest and shallowest-draft passenger vessel of the fleet, built in 1998 at the Kufra Shipyard in Lübeck. Completely modernised in early 2018 to new-build standard. With 100 licensed passengers, the ship offers approx. 69 saloon seats and 43 covered seats on the aft deck. Thanks to its shallow draft, the ship can reach the shallow waters of the Vierlande, the Bille and the Wilhelmsburger Dove Elbe, as well as the historic Speicherstadt at suitable water levels. Equipment: air conditioning, heating, new lighting, modern sanitary facilities (1x wheelchair accessible), up-to-date wheelhouse with latest navigation technology, self-service bar with hot and cold beverages.
